Friday's Fun and Food...
The eating extravaganza started in the fourth grade classroom on Friday afternoon...it was the last healthy food to be had for several hours...
So how obscene is this? A pillowcase of halloween candy Nicole collected on Friday evening. I enjoyed the Peanut M&M's. Noone likes the Milk Duds...Someone should give out toothbrushes.
Me and Nicole together. You can see I have added blond highlights and am letting my short hair grow out a little. I have finally made peace with my curls. I have still not made peace with Nicole's curls and the silky shampoo works well, to a degree...it would work better if she lathered longer and then actually used the pick all the way through. Her hair is so beautiful, but totally on my nerves in the tangled frizzed out state it is. I know it shouldn't even be registering on my radar, but it is.

Well, she can go rastafarian and do the dreadlock thing!! A friend of mine asked a woman with perfect dredlocks how she got it to do that. The answer? "I just quit combing it!" aigh!
Beware of milk duds!! I was chomping down on one last February and broke s cusp of a molar off! And I can't afford a crown, so I have a temporary filling over the ouchy exposed parts and am saving up for major dental work!! (If you have read "An Unfavored Day" on my blog, you already know about that tooth and how I had to spend $171 to get the filling replaced!)
I expect you have tried braids and such? Keeping it short?
My grandma had hair like that and she always kept it short. But you have to find the right person to cut it.
Ha! She doesn't even like me to touch it! And she doesnt' even want to talk about keeping it short again. People always thought she was a boy. But when it actually gets combed after it is washed, and scrunchied and clipped, especially with a side part, it is just gorgeous. Off course, dreadlocks are always an option. The hippie approach to life seems to run in the family (her older brothers...)
Actually, don't know about your blog, tell us the link. :)

Nice look, Kathy! I need highlights, but if I go lighter I need to do it more often (and I can't stand to sit still that long!)
I remember those candy bag days! Now I hear that the "candy fairy" comes in the middle of the night and replaces the bag with toys? What's up with that?
HUGS TO BOTH OF YOU!
Interesting...I hadn't heard that one! For the amount of candy she has it would probably merit an American Girl doll...
